"Instructional Strategies for Learners who are Deaf-Blind"

WEBINAR OVERVIEW

This webinar will provide an introduction to appropriate instructional strategies for learners with combined hearing and vision loss. Various theoretical approaches and techniques will be mentioned along with the following strategies:
  • how to facilitate s child's participation in the entire activity to the fullest extent possible, 
  • understanding how the child's developmental level impacts the designing and implementing of intervention and instruction,
  • how routine or activity-based instruction can enhance learning, and
  • develop systematic instructional activities and materials that are meaningful, relevant, and age appropriate.
